Italian furniture company Schiffini was founded in 1925 in the town of Spezia, on the Ligurian sea a young designer Enrico Schiffini.

Originally Schiffini factory specialized in the production of equipment for military ships and yachts. In the late 40-ies in the Italian shipbuilding began to decline, and Enrico reoriented their production in accordance with the demands of a new, postwar, generation.
